The UV Hinge 2 is a big upgrade from the original UV Hinge imo. As far as there being anything better, only you can answer that. The UV2 is a great design but I would prefer a shorter neck. You can also use Impulse limbs too in some circumstances. 2015 and 2016 are the same. I have a 2015 Synergy and 2016 Impulse limbs fit just fine.
