The TX22 won a couple "Gun of the Year" awards from the gun mags, and its trigger is amazing (specially for <$250), while the P322 looks to have an OK trigger between 4 to 6 lbs (My TX22 breaks crisp at 3lbs 7oz average). If you do a quick search of the p322 on reddit or YouTube you will quickly see that gun has nothing but problems. I personally just researched the p322 vs the tx22 line up, and I didn't want to risk my luck with the p322 altho that's the one I initially wanted. I ended up buying the TX22 Compact, which was cheaper and probably more reliable.

Actually size and weight do matter to me, at least a 4" barrel, the SR 22 has a 4" model, the P322 is right in that range also as is the Glock 44 22lr. I didn't mention Kel Tec because I've already narrowed it down to the models/ Brands I mentioned.The S&W and Ruger pistols have 3.6- and 31/2-inch barrels, respectively, both hold 10 rounds to the TX 22’s 13. SIG Sauer’s P322 carries an impressive 20 rounds, but sports a 4-inch barrel and is a larger pistol overall. The P322 and SR22 both weigh between 17 and 18 ounces, which is more than the TX 22 Compact.
