I also bought a separate 14.5" barrel conversion kit recently, but that barrel is tapered at the end.

The kit has the 11.5" 5.56 upper, the SIG trigger and the adapters to put on the AR lower so that it can mate with the upper and use MCX stocks. I went this route so that I could use an already SBR'ed lower.

It looks like I can get MCX CARRIER GROUP for $449, the Upper Receiver for $499, and Charging handle for $99. Whenever the 6.75" barrel comes back in stock would add another $600.
