Estoc, definitely. Even with a quality build, the spear's AR is never really going to be high enough to warrant its slower attack speed. You'll end up killing mob enemies in, say, 3 hits, the same number it would take with the estoc. And the estoc will do it much faster, with a much shorter delay between combos.I prefer the Estoc's longer range over the Rapier's extra damage (Estoc also looks cooler). The long reach also helps when I feel like attacking from behind a shield at a safer distance. I do use the Rapier off-hand so I'm forced to learn how to parry/ dodge faster, so I may switch over to Rapier again. But for now, I like Estoc the best.Pike. Estoc has B scaling in Str at +10 solidly making it a Str weapon. If you want to do pure-physical damage then you want 40 str and 12ish dex. However, it also infuses pretty well. So it depends on if you want to go pure Str or only enough to use your weapons and infuse. 40 Str and 12 dex you are looking at 308 Physical.

Estoc has my favourite strong attack in the game, is reasonably powerful, quite quick, is quite long, and has all the utility that the thrusting swords have. Balder side sword is probably slightly better, but I think the estoc is more fun and the blocking attack can really help in a bind. To me they're about even.

The Estoc 1H R2 is quite simply the best move in the game. Not only does it pierce shields, but it is extremely fast, can combo into a normal stab, and even out-ranges spears/rapier pokes. Fighting greatswords is hilariously easy when you can just stand outside the range, and counter sweep between swings. The winged spear has better damage and range. Estoc, on the other hand, sacrifices outright damage for speed, 2 types of attack and better crits. I like both equally, and would be happy to drop one now so I can focus on the other.
