This is a metaphorical poem written by Monika about the game. The TV is the protagonist and Monika’s three friends are Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki. Monika's AI/consciousness is made self-aware in Libitina, moves itself into DDLC. She makes contact with one of the people running the simulation, uploads herself into that person and is now free, while that person is now trapped inside the simulations, as it's implied that person's personality has completely changed.

DDLC was a game disguised as something very simple and generic that takes it a step further by making one of the characters self aware and sentient and essentially take it over. Meanwhile, Plus takes it a step too far for me with lore.
