Crystal armor + BOWFA isn't only good at Zulrah. In fact, the need for it only gets higher as you progress to harder content than Zulrah. You'd "need" to do the grind anyway at some point, unless you're getting turbo spooned and get something like a tbow.

I personally love my bowfa rebuild. Like the guys said above, you do need close to 200m to get the whole crystal armour along side with the bow otherwise it's not worth it. i pushed for blowpipe even after the nerf. 1365kc. still using bp at many many spots, same with toxic trident, even serp helm is useful. In other words - I feel like zulrah is still almost mandatory (yes yes, you can technically do without it if you get bofa/sang but realistically zulrah is still a way to go imo for non endgame players)
