Some guy had sold the 716G2 to the shop right before I got there so he could get a SCAR17. Lucky for me the dealer cut me a deal and I got the 716G2 instead of the 716i. It does a great job of controlling recoil…but the muzzle blast is impressive! I took mine to the local indoor range and even though the muzzle was a foot beyond the lane dividers, it blew the instructions and safety placards off the walls!! It’s a quality gun so you can’t go wrong. Ruger SFAR would be a great choice because it’s very lightweight for an AR10 which is a major bonus.
