Given pushshift's recent demise and uncertain future I got thinking about using something locally, I would use this for moderation purposes and it would not be available publicly, I don't believe reddit will limit collecting data from one's own moderated subreddit for fully private use, bots that moderators use already work by looking at everything streaming on their subreddit.
