Nov 18, 2017 · 1999 sportsman 500 no spark. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction on where to start looking! I have no spark to the spark plug at all. I have replaced the spark plug, voltage rectifier, ignition coil, and stator. Not everything was replaced for this problem. Just the ignition coil. May 16, 2015 · Here is the information and what I have tried: - NO SPARK -. - Gauges and all other electrical items (lights, etc.) work. - The crank position sensor has been checked at swapped. Both test at 1017 ohms. (proper number is 1000 ohms +/- 10%) - The coil measures at 2.2 ohms on each part of the primary side (1-2 and 2-3). Book says 0.4 ohms. The 570 ProStar engine powers the Ranger 570. It is a compact single-cylinder, 567cc engine giving 44 horsepower that serves the Ranger, Sportsman, Ace and RZR platforms and other projects. The Ranger 570 EFI is arguably among the all-time best engines in the Polaris lineup. If you maintain your Ranger 570 well, you should have few difficulties.There's no voltage running through it ignition on or off as well as there's no continuity which means its not becoming a ground at any point. we got a wiring harness for it ordered so hopefully it comes in while Im here to put it on. When did you purchase the unit, since you state it only has 10hrs on it. Did something happen to possibly cause this issue, referring to you riding conditions and use of the Ranger.
