They all do it, but the LB7/LLY cranks have a little more weight to them so they are preferred if you're building the motor. When it goes into reduced engine, the ECM turns off the injector on the cylinder that is knocking, and it goes away. Guessing you can figure out which cylinder it is by turning off injectors with a scan tool.
