MACEDONIA ROUTE 8 FIRE UPDATE. At approximately 9:20 AM, a fuel tanker of some sort crashed on Route 8 South near 271 in Macedonia. It erupted into flames and burned heavily until fire crews could extinguish the flames at around 10:15 AM. It is being reported that fuel has spilled and leaked into areas near the highway.
