Ryze's strongest powerspike is at 2 Items with RoA/ Everfrost and Seraph's Embrace. Ryze is, even if not that noticable on the surfice, quite complex and hard to play. So don't get discouraged and blame the Champion for being "weak", he isn't really weak and just takes more practice than other Champions.
