A newer track tractor or something with front duels and 50" rubber would probably handle it fine. The 1770 has a better lifting system than the 7200 series . The 7200 the cylinders will get out of phase. We have had 12 row 7200, then 16 row 7200 and now 1770nt - 16 row with es sets. We have used Precisions finger pickup and vaccum units and both seed very well.John Deere vs. Case IH planters. A bit of histroy, ran I believe it was an 800 IH Cyclo 8 row many years ago, then switched to a JD 7200 8 row, and now have been running a JD 1790 12/24 for 4 seasons and about 6000ac. The thought and discussion is there to upgrade to a 16/31 but the question is Case IH or John Deere??
