Nov 13, 2023 · The PVT is not 100% accurate. There have been some reports of getting a “bad pop-up” or “false result”. However, it is a fairly good indicator to what a student’s result actually is. I don’t know anyone personally who’s gotten the bad pop up, but I’ve definitely seen people say it can be wrong. I think I saw somewhere that the good pop up is 99% accurate but the bad pop up is only 80-85% accurate

That's the pop up that means you tried it too soon. The good pop up begins with "our records indicate." So, unfortunately, if you tried it again later and it accepted your money, that likely means you didn't pass. I'm fairly sure if you passed, it wouldn't let you purchase even if you put in the correct CC info.
