I used to main my scav, now I main my PMC. I've 100% noticed a shift in the community. I think it has to do with the boom of new players wanting to learn the ropes and experienced players wanting to just scav to earn money, because that's what a scav, imo, is mainly for. The truth is, you have to play as a pmc to level your skills. My first pmc play raids all I did was lie in a bush or hunker down if I heard the slightest noises. I still sorta do that but with a lot more confidence. I highly suggest you keep doing scav raids and really learn maps because that's how you transition in the early levels.
