The fact the the Acadia, Chevrolet Volt and Malibu . . . all using the same basic design and micro switch are evidence enough along with the TSBs ( at least 2 or 3 in the case of the Acadia) that have been issued. GM does not issue TSBs for nothing. Owners push the shift lever into “P” and once the problem occurs they continue to take it in and out of Park. Going through this process still does not fix the problem. If owners leave their GMC Acadia without it being in Park it can roll away 2017 GMC Acadia interior | GM.
