I used to have a 43x and mine was snappy too but that being said it depends on the type of ammo you use too. My P365 is still snappy with powerful rounds and has a lot of muzzle rise despite of weighing at 27oz and having a compensator on the barrel and a heavy recoil spring guide rod.
