Feb 8, 2014 · Hey everyone, Got an 03 LB7 Duramax, and just replaced the injectors. It won't start, and it's throwing P0088 and P0193. Now, I installed a Nicktane Cat filter and I can hear bubbling. P0094 or P1094 show a slight difference but enough to throw a code. P0093 or P1093 mean there is a large difference between the desired and actual rail pressures. P0087 is just another symptom of the other codes. Usually the p0087 is caused on LLY-LMM trucks by a weak FPRV and can be shimmed for cheap.

Cranks but won't start. I checked to usual stuff, fuel fite, prime, air filter, wire rubs. nothing. I did find that the 25amp fuse for the injector was blown. I unlatched and pulled the two big wire harnesses and put a fuse in and the fuse didn't blow. I pulled in the bottom harness and the fuse blew again.

May 28, 2013 · Code is p0090 06 GMC duramax lbz. 4in rancho lift, 35" dunlop fierce attitudes, 4" downpipe back exhaust, banks air intake, Russell ss braided brake lines, efi and edge insight cts, energy suspension controll arm and sway bar bushings. P0089 and P0090 FOUND IT!! The connector to the fuel rail regulator had a wire pushed out!!! The way it works is the computer LOWERS the fuel pressure. I checked wires from FPR back to ecm and no breaks or knicks. Key on I’m seeing 2.63vdc at FPR. I backprobed at the ECM and found the same 2.63vdc. I read that …

try turning the key on, then off, leave the key off, wait about 4-5 minutes then with key off try to pull code, if it dont work turn key on pull and clear code then urn off and re start... The filter needs to be changed every 8000-10000 miles. 2. Your FPRV (fuel pressure relief valve) may need to be shimmed, but not many LMM need this. 3. You may need to look at getting a lift pump.
