They linked Wallingford's P25 site to some CLMRN sites. When one of their units (Police, Fire, Whatever) roams outside of Wallingford's coverage, they set it up to roam to CLMRN but instead of getting their native TG numbers, (Ex Police 1 TG 101) it gets assigned a random TG number in the 65,000 range by CLMRN that it talks to the CLMRN system on.nekopie03 said: i cant get my sds100 to pick up any of the CLMRN. Uniden themselves say that the 996P2 has trouble with simulcast. I have two that work on CLMRN and then when four were purchased for a fire company in my town, none of them worked. It is not learning how to use them, I cloned my programming, tried the same antennas ... identical, just unhooked my two existing 996P2, and these four would not work.

The numbering system allows for 100 possible talkgroups per town. New Milford is tax town 096 so you could simply program all 100 groups from 19600 to 19699. I have never logged any of those groups on Troop L Site (or any other site). The town website shows no mention of CLMRN in their webpage search (meetings, budget, etc)
