Plus, one of leadership's 250 perks give you an additional clan party slot. Which is much more than 75 if you can form an army. Trade perk 125 is a good one to rush - 1 renown per successful caravan/workshop helps you get up to high clan levels way more quickly, and passively. Clan level is a big power amplifier imo. It gives you access to more parties, which are larger, more companions, more workshops and seems to affect priority in settlement division.
