A machine translation patch will happen eventually but I doubt it will be ready until a few weeks after launch This can't happen since we don't have the Japanese script. There is no jailbreak for the PS4 firmware Kuro 2 runs on, so there's no way of extracting the Japanese script from the PS4/PS5 versions.If you care most about PS5 this has no effect on you whatsoever. Best way to think about this is it’s the Japanese version of the game on PC that one day will have an automatic upgrade to the English release. Edit: and no, this release does not have English subtitles. There are mods out there that may do that, but they’re not official releases.
