The door hit the rail on the garage door and messed something up. Since then the door will try to close, but when it gets close it changes its mind and pops back open. I'm going to closely examine the left and right pinch sensor for damage when I get home from work (van's at home). But, if I see no obvious damage, it would seem useful to disconnect one or both pinch sensors to see if the door might then open / close -- i.e. try and see if this is the issue, and if it is the issue, determine which sensor is bad.

That is the fuse for both doors that is hot all the time, and is the one that people find the parasitic drain on when there is a door latch problem. You are putting the flip-flop partway out the door, but not far enough for it to hit the sensor. This will also happen on the back edge of the door, when it closes flush with the van.

While not related to the door problem it appears you have a problem in the rear HVAC mode control motor circuit.
