There are 4 to 5 separated pools for you to pick. The water slides are fun. We paid less than $300 a night including taxes and $25 a night resort fee. Hyatt is very congested and building a time share tower where the parking used to be. Heavy sales pitches in the lobby.

Pros of Honua Kai: Likely better view, bigger lanai, convenient to walk to food trucks and supermarket, ability to cancel up to 60 days before arrival, and we know we like it based on prior stays.
