My driveway is fairly steep. When I back out, RAB always alerts when it sense the bottom of the drive where it meets the street (the angle of driveway/street relative to bumper changes so sensors pick up the street as an obstacle). Just press and hold it for 3 seconds and it turns off. If you don't know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else. Got home backed my car down my narrow driveway into the sun,uphill.
