When trying to join an Assigned mission that a friend is stuck on and it's saying I haven't progressed enough through the story even though I've finished the entire game including Xeno. To get someone to join a private session you need to send them the Session ID from the menu, I think it's under communication. Copy paste the code and send it to them, they enter it in the main menu and then they can join your private party. Wondering the same for the first question. Honestly had no issues finding people, and when there was no one, I'd make my own quest and people would join at least within 5 mins. Don't wait forever on people, try 2-3 times, if no one then start your own. People WILL join you. I didn't even know there was a patch update tho.
