2014 CX-5 Touring AWD. Aug 21, 2013. #1. I have some questions about jacking up the CX-5. The lift points for the car's jack lie along ribs about .75" high and maybe .2" thick that run roughly from just behind the front wheel to just in front of the rear wheels on each side. Hi, welcome aboard. I'm pretty sure the handbook show the supplied jack locating on stregthened points front and back of the cills. I wouldn't use any other jack this way, and I'm nervous of this type of jacking point anyway. If you pop a rough location in your profile someone local may well help out. Keep on Bongoing. It's on the indented portion of that rail on the bottom of the car. As for the jack points on the front and back just look for the tow hooks and put your stands under those if you need to raise up the front or back only.
