Blast resist and a raw Safi glaive does the trick. I found that staying on the ground meant I got hit more, so I slapped airborne into the build and some divine blessing, and then fit in power prolonger 3 and the rest with crit eye. I barely ever touched the ground, and it certainly wasn't fast (29 minute kill) but it was much easier that way.

Fatalis glaive is just sooo much stronger in every aspect. And if you can play IG properly and manage to have your kinsect on the monster throughout most of the hunt (by using the nectar which is applied by the R-attack) you will be better of using an ice-element kinsect. It does surprising amounts of elemental damage.

All of these build use 4 piece drachen for the masters touch skill and have 100% affinity for never ending white. Ruin and Kt use peak performance 3 on top of that (empress mail b).
