Inferium Seeds are one of the main ways to collect Inferium Essence. They can be grown on any farmland, but are most efficient on Essence Farmland. Resource Crops.

Following some guides, it seems the most basic starting point is Inferium Essence along with some regular seeds, but I've not seen any Inferium Essence in the 10 hours at least we have put in. I've read it comes from killing mobs, but we have a falling mob farmer with a item vacuum nearby that doesn't seem to have any essence in it at all.
