Ok , I now see that my 4xe went from D1 to D status a half step backwards. I fell into the same trap I tell my customers. Until I see it in a KZ status I don't like to discuss delivery, So what did I do I opened my big keyboard and shot off what was going on before the status was upgraded, higher up in the alphabet. Shame on me.

This installation is on a 2022 Grand Cherokee Base 4xe with Lux Package. The cover housing the front camera is made of 2 parts. A small rectangular piece followed by a large square piece. My only tool for this job was a flat head screwdriver and delicate movements. I think it helps reduce road noise from the tires. The last thing I would want is a warranty claim to be challenged because they are a being a pain about if the work was done correctly.So, my suggestions to you, not in any particular order: 1. Trade in the 4xe for a non-hybrid Jeep, simplest thing to do, I’m sure there are plenty of folks wanting to buy a 4xe. 2. When the engine first comes on, it will run in series hybrid mode where it idles around 1500 rpm and loads the engine up with the generator to preheat the catalytic converter. It is noisier when doing this. The screen blacking out, battery dropping, and trying to die, however, is not normal behavior.
