You will also need rear wheel weights , loaded tires and a 1000 pound counterweight on the three point hitch for maximum traction as per Ford Specifications in the Loader manual .

They will be a bear to steer with the bucket loaded and the front ends are weak on them. I have not used the loader for several years and recently had it sold to someone who also had an 8N. Changing the belt was not all that much trouble. Disconnect pump from mount and take the shaft coupler apart. Not that much trouble, no need to remove any hydraulic hoses.
