It's possible this indicates an overall buff to rest with a nerf to sleep similar to drowsy from legends. Edit: Looking at the trailer again we see pokemon attacking with the sleep icon, it actually does seem like drowsy/frostbite are likely to return in some form. Maybe sleep will change to work like in legends.
