There is no alarm switch or anything in settings for this. Just buckle it up and sit on top of it. How about just putting your seat belt on while driving on your property. Accidents can happen anywhere. Just my opinion. There is a button in the doorjamb. Take a piece of gorilla tape and tape the button down.

Strangely enough I have the opposite problem. My seat belt reminder does not work on the passenger side front seat. I have tried the method several times and I get the feedback from the seat belt light in the gauge cluster as expected but it still does not turn the seatbelt reminder chime back on. Sat Apr 24, 2021 10:38 pm. Have an indie shop reprogram the module that is related to the seat belt to disable the chime. The chime is from the Combination Meter and it isn't reprogrammable. Neither is the BCM, for security reasons. You might ask first before sending someone on a wild goose chase.
