Fidelity discount on turbotax.
The form became available and so I completed the return, but when I go to file it wants to charge me $154 (it says discount of $15 from $169 for Turbotax Premier). This is all after following the link from the Fidelity Summary page where it says I get Turbotax Premier free.
I have clicked through to the website for TurboTax online and it is giving me a discount, but it is not 20%, which is what the Fidelity splash page promises "save 20% however you choose to file." But TurboTax wants to charge me $107.10 for TurboTax Premium, said to be a discount off of $129. But that is not 20% off.I think the discount has expired. Official Response. I'm super confused. I clearly remembered that Fidelity applied $20 discount on *both* federal (TurboTax Premier) and California tax return. I remember the price was $89 + $59 - $40 = $108. But today I'm only seeing a $15 discount was applied to the federal return, leaving the total price is a $133 ($89 + $59 - $15 = $133).
