May 31, 2023 · For my builds online, as a matter of consistency, I feel I should stick with the tree descriptions. DDO being a game full of confusion, particularly for new players. Though simple testing (as you mention below) shows otherwise: you never know, this could get fixed in the near future to reflect the tree, rather than the buff bar.

Wizard EK is a melee build, so you should steer more towards Family than Esoteric. If you're just going to 20 and TR then VU sets are a bit too late to matter. SoS/Whirlwind/Carnifex are your major weapons to look for. Stone Shoes are nice at 15 too, acid is a good choice for spell sword. I would still go undead, though, because it only …
