I like that the psw12 has a 12" driver, the psw404 has a 10" driver. I like the front port on on the psw12, this makes it easier to place than the rear ported psw404. Acording to the specs, both are close on the frequency range (the low end). According to the specs, the psw404 has twice the amp power of the psw12. The cheapest option would be to go with another psw404 which would cost under $250. However I was seriously looking at a SVS PB12-Plus which would cost me $800 and then I might be about to get $100-150 for my used PSW404. I guess my question is.
