I figured my day was over and started to head out, but found that the transmission was in limp mode. It was driveable, but not great so I cleared the code.

I have a 2001 TJ 4.0 and it is consistently throwing a P0305 (#5 piston misfire) code and any time the RPM reaches 2800, it cuts out and surges between 2600 and 2800 rpm (exactly like a Rev limiter, assume a limp mode).
