Is tradovate a good broker.

I’ve seen NinjaTrader, Tradovate (which I’m using now), Lightspeed(which I used for stocks), Interactice Brokers, and a couple others I forgot. I’m looking for an optimal broker package, preferably one with incredible charting but it’s okay if the charting isn’t that great because I use Esignal mostly for charting. Think or swim is garbage for futures. Use a real broker and a real platform especially if you're scalping or intraday trading. You need to be able to see the whole order book. I personally like jigsaw, sierra chart and optimus flow. There's a day margin in Futures and a Maintenance margin. You need the maintenance margin if you're holding the contract when the futures markets are closed. That's how it is on Tradovate, other brokers might vary on the hours. You would need $1060 to hold the contract open during those hours the futures market is closed.

Sadly it has not and most likely won't change at least anytime soon. If you ask me, the most suitable brokerage firms for me have to be fxview and TD ameritrade. But it doesn’t mean that they would be best for your trading requirements also. You will have to do your own search to find the ones that work for you.
